Nasal packing is used after an operation in the nose for many reasons:<br>\n\u2022 stabilize the nasal bones after lateral osteotomies<br>\n\u2022 compress the septal mucosa on each side after a septoplasty<br>\n\u2022 control nasal bleeding<br>\nThere are many types of nasal packings: some aim to be absorbent while others aim to compress, and some do both.<\/p>\n<p>WHY DEVELOP A \u201cNASAL PACKING LESS\u201d TECHNIQUE?<br>\n\u2022 The most recurring complaint following a rhinoplasty is not pain as one might think but nasal blockage because of nasal packing hindering breathing and eating.<br>\n\u2022 Furthermore, one of the most frequent fears after a rhinoplasty is feeling pain during the nasal packing\u2019s removal.<\/p>\n<p>HOW DOES \u201cNASAL PACKING LESS\u201d TECHNIQUE WORK?
